Delta Chapter Official Philanthropy: Arms of Love - Nicaragua
The mission of Arms of Love is to give abandoned and abused children a home, a family, and a future so they become the leaders of tomorrow in their churches and in their communities. This organization provides more than just the basics, they also provide education that helps foster the children in the direction of higher education.
With Arms of Love as the main focus of Golden Week (chapter founder's week), sisters brought the CSU community together to learn how to support the children of Nicaragua. PLC raised school supplies and money to go towards a future roof project in the children's home. They were able to send these materials as well as the mural above to Nicaragua with Jess Burge, a CSU faculty member who recently accepted a position with Arms of Love.
